The film is based on the book ‘The Big Year: A Tale of Man, Nature and Fowl Obsession’ by Mark Obmascik. The plot follows three men involved in a bird-watching competition.
Marley & Me director David Frankel has signed to helm the picture. Ben Stiller is attached to produce.
Shooting is expected to begin in May.
