Universal Pictures has confirmed that Noah Baumbach will rewrite Brett Ratner's upcoming heist screenplay, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Ratner has been slated to direct the untitled film, which was already rewritten once by Ocean's Eleven screenwriter Ted Griffin.

Baumbach's recent work as writer and director for the film Greenberg, which starred Ben Stiller, has garnered critical acclaim.

Stiller is rumoured to have joined the cast of Ratner's heist film on account of Baumbach's involvement in the feature.

The plot will follow a gang of blue-collar workers who rob the Penthouse suite of the building in which they work.
