The actor reportedly voiced his dissatisfaction with the final cut of Marvel's 2008 Hulk movie upon its release.
In an interview with Coming Soon, Norton said that he is still in communication with Marvel "to some degree" through his agents.
The 40-year-old also told MTV that he has no plans to appear in a sequel to Hulk, nor will he be involved in Marvel's Thor or The First Avenger: Captain America.
Again speaking to Coming Soon, he hinted that he might return to the role of Bruce Banner/The Hulk for the planned Avengers movie.
"I get the sense they (Marvel) have this grand vision of unspooling a lot of their characters and then starting to put them together," Norton said.
He added: "I think they can only do so many at a time. Obviously, they are doing Iron Man 2 and then getting some of the new ones out."
Norton's Leaves of Grass opens in US cinemas on April 2, 2010.
