Phillipe in talks for 'Captain America'?

According to HitFix, the Stop-Loss star is a contender for the lead part in Marvel Studio's The First Avenger: Captain America.
The 35-year-old joins Michael Cassidy, Chace Crawford, Scott Porter, Garrett Hedlund, Mike Vogel, Chris Evans and John Krasinski as the latest actor to screen for the role.
Matrix star Hugo Weaving is apparently in negotiations to portray villain Red Skull in the superhero picture.
Phillipe will next be seen in MacGruber, arriving in US cinemas on May 21.
