Felton: 'We're revelling in Deathly Hallows'
Published Thursday, Mar 18 2010, 15:13 GMT | By Simon Reynolds
Tom Felton has revealed that the final Harry Potter films are "revelling" in J.K. Rowling's source material.
Speaking to DS at the UK premiere for Remember Me, Felton admitted that the filmmakers are working closely from Rowling's Deathly Hallows novel to bring the last movies to the screen.
"One of the great things about the last one is that we've managed to split it into two films. We have all the freedom to stick to the books exactly and revel in them and enjoy every page," he said.
Discussing the ending of the film, which sees the main characters in their mid-30s, Felton said that the make-up work will be done without CGI.
"There's a lovely moment at the end of the film where we're all 35 years old, Dan [Radcliffe] and I are very excited to see each other as old men!" he commented. "They're doing it with prosthetics, with me at least. No digital enhancements, it's all real stuff. I'm hoping it's going to be flattering, we'll see!"
