Bloom set for career turning point

The Calcium Kid star has admitted that he wants to be known for his acting talent as well as his looks.
"I want to take this movie from being a boy to a man," Bloom told Australian newspaper The Sunday Mail. "I played Paris the cowardly younger brother in Troy and for me to do the complete opposite in Kingdom Of Heaven with Ridley Scott was just an incredible opportunity.
"I put on about 20 pounds (9kg) to try to be bigger and stronger to make that physical transition. I think Balian is very much a man who is really coming of age."
He added, "A friend of mine once said to me there will always be a new hot young actor. He said, 'You know what, mate, if you are that guy for a little while, enjoy it and get on with it and don't let it get in the way, because it's fine.'
"Ultimately I am trying to be an actor and a good actor and do the best I can do to be a good actor. Hopefully, those fans that have had me on their walls, ultimately as they grow up will appreciate the work I am doing trying to be an actor as well."
