Stewart, Fanning praise Bigelow Oscar win

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning have praised Kathryn Bigelow's recent Oscar win.

The Runaways stars have cheered the filmmaker's historic moment as the first woman to win a 'Best Director' Academy Award.

Speaking to Teen Hollywood, Stewart said: "I think it was great."

Fanning continued: "I know and I really loved that movie The Hurt Locker, too. It was wonderful."

Stewart added: "It's so awesome. If you make something good you're going to get recognised for it but it's so hard to get there. She's obviously really talented and smart and awesome. Good for her."
