John Corbett confirms 'SATC 2' role

Corbett, who plays Carrie Bradshaw's love interest Aidan Shaw in the franchise, has previously denied claims that he is involved in the movie.
However, appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Corbett admitted that he had been instructed to keep his role a secret.
He explained: "These rumours started about seven months ago because somebody took a picture of me in Morocco and I felt really bad because for the last six months every time somebody said, 'Are you in this movie?' I had to lie about it."
Corbett added that he is now allowed to say that he is in the movie because a new promotional clip features his character.
"I just found out I'm going to be in the trailer so I can break the news on your show that Aidan gets to come back to Sex And The City," he said.
A representative for The Ellen DeGeneres Show told Access Hollywood that Corbett refused to reveal any further details about his role.
