Sean Bean joins 'Age of Heroes'

Lord of the Rings actor Sean Bean has reportedly boarded World War II drama Age of Heroes.

Bean joins Danny Dyer and Rosie Fellner in the upcoming film, reports Empire.

Age of Heroes is based on the true adventures of the elite 30 Commando unit.

The movie is the first in a planned trilogy. Age of Honour and Age of Glory are due to follow.

Bean will next be seen in HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones and Death Race 2.
