The story centres on Manhattan attorney Rachel Miller as she experiences a crisis when she falls for her best friend Darcy's fiancé on her 30th birthday. Hudson will play the role of Darcy.
The Girl Next Door's Luke Greenfield is directing Something Borrowed, while actress Hilary Swank is among its producers.
