Pellegrino joins Alicia Witt and Jim Parrack who are already cast in the film, reports Coming Soon.
The story follows an ex-con who is out of jail on parole. He forms a relationship with a troubled stripper after his ex-wife abandons him and he is barred from seeing his daughter.
The parolee saves the stripper from an unlikely assailant and is forced to evade the law once again.
Director Brian Jun is helming the project, produced by James Choi and Max Velez .
Production is scheduled to begin in April in Illinois.
Pellegrino plays Jacob on Lost and has had a recurring role on The CW's Supernatural.
