'Up in the Air' writer to direct 'Virtue'

The film marks the Oscar-nominated writer's directorial debut, reports Variety.
Hurt Locker producer Nicholas Chartier is backing the project.
Turner wrote the movie's script, which centres on a man seeking revenge after being framed by his former partner.
Earlier this year, Up in the Air director/co-writer Jason Reitman denied reports of a feud between himself and Turner.
