Hughes Brothers split over 'Akira'?
Published Friday, Apr 2 2010, 17:33 BST | By Hugh Armitage

The pair have always shared the director credit on their movies, but Albert will be focusing on the adaptation of the legendary anime while Allen pursues other projects, reports Deadline.
The Book of Eli directors were originally expected to work on the film together as they have previously.
Allen will instead be concentrating on an HBO series pilot for Gentlemen of Leisure, a spinoff of their American Pimp documentary.
It is not clear whether the Hughes Brothers will share the directorial credit for Akira.
