Anna Friel signs on for 'Dark Fields'

Anna Friel has joined the cast of the film Dark Fields, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Land of the Lost actress will star alongside Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro and Abbie Cornish in Neil Burger's thriller, based on the novel by Alan Glynn.

The 33-year-old will play the ex-wife of Cooper, a writer who discovers a super drug that will make him smarter.

Cooper's character experiences wild financial successes from the drug but ultimately suffers from its lethal side effects.

Friel, who recently finished a run in Breakfast At Tiffany's in London's West End, will appear in upcoming Woody Allen feature You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger.
