Ty Burrell has entered talks to star opposite Jennifer Garner in the Weinstein Company's Butter movie.
The Modern Family star would appear as Garner's husband in the comedy.
The film will see Burrell play a butter-carving champion of 15 years who is forced to step down. His wife (Garner) goes into training to become the new champion.
Garner is producing Butter through her Vandalia Films banner, alongside with Mike De Luca.
The movie was penned by Jason Micallef and will be directed by Jim Field Smith (She's Out of My League).
