Mulligan, Ronan for 'Violet and Daisy'?

Carey Mulligan and Saoirse Ronan are in talks to star in upcoming feature Violet and Daisy.

The film is scripted by Oscar-winning Precious screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher, according to Showbiz 411.

The movie is billed as a girl-power story that's Thelma & Louise meets Superbad and Pulp Fiction.

Mulligan was recently nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in An Education. Ronan appeared in The Lovely Bones.
