The film, to be directed by Angels & Demons helmer Ron Howard, will see Vaughn's character discovering that his best friend's wife is cheating on him.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop's Kevin James will play Vaughn's pal, while Ryder has signed up to star as the straying spouse.
Howard will direct the film this year in Chicago based on Allan Loeb's script, reports Deadline.
