According to the Los Angeles Times, Hitman producer Adrian Askarieh is behind the action film project.
"I would describe it as Kill Bill meets Raiders Of The Lost Ark with the 'team' element of Mission: Impossible," Askarieh said about the upcoming movie.
The comic, created by J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell, centres on a group of scantily clad female secret agents battling villains across the globe.
"It is the story of a lost girl who, through this incredibly kick-ass adventure, finds her destiny, comes of age and helps save the world," Askarieh added.
He also said that he plans to begin announcing the picture's cast at the San Diego Comic-Con in July.
Filmmaker Lincoln is further directing The Apparition, starring Ashley Greene and Sebastian Stan.
