Alicia Silverstone in talks for 'Butter'

The film, about a butter-carving contest at the Iowa State Fair, was allegedly inspired by Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama's battle to secure the Democratic nomination for president in 2008.
According to Production Weekly, Silverstone, who previously starred in Clueless, is in negotiations about joining the comedy.
Jim Carrey, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Garner, Ty Burrell and Ashley Greene have also been linked to the movie.
Earlier this year, it emerged that Silverstone is planning to reunite with Clueless director Amy Heckerling for new movie Vamps.
