A remake of George A. Romero's classic 1985 horror movie Day of the Dead is being financed by Millennium Films, reports Variety.
The original movie saw military personnel and scientists defend themselves in an underground bunker against a swarm of undead, and was a sequel to 1968's Night of the Living Dead and 1978's Dawn of the Dead.
Dawn of the Dead enjoyed a remake from Universal Pictures last year, which took $102m (£55.9m) worldwide.
