New Regency to pick up Niccol script?

The Gattaca and The Truman Show writer recently penned the screenplay for new sci-fi feature I'm Mortal.
Niccol's script is set in the near future, when ageing has been outsmarted and time becomes the new currency.
The protagonist is a man who comes into a fortune of time but is too late to save his dying mother.
The film is scheduled to begin shooting this summer.
