Roach is to receive the 'Comedy Director Of The Year Award' at the upcoming event.
The director's films include Austin Powers and Meet the Parents.
A panel of judges will also hear web project pitches during the conference, as part of its Pitch 'Til Your Sides Split sidebar in Montreal.
The festival will run from July 15 to July 17.
Roach's Little Fockers arrives in US cinemas on December 22.
