Director quits 'My Fair Lady' remake

According to the Daily Mail, Madden (Shakespeare In Love) has walked away from helming the musical after allegedly clashing with producers over who should play Henry Higgins.
Emma Thompson had earlier revealed that Hugh Grant was in the running for the role of the professor who transforms Carey Mulligan's cockney flower Eliza Doolittle girl into a high society lady.
Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle was previously attached to make My Fair Lady, while Keira Knightley had been touted for the lead role.
