The film will mark the Before Sunset star's fourth as director, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Delpy will co-star in the comedy picture with Eric Elmonsino and Gallic actresses Noemie Lvovsky, Aure Atika and Bernadette Laffont.
"It's really Julie Delpy's vision of France through the eyes of a French woman who has lived in the US for many years," said producer Michael Gentile.
The 40-year-old is also lined up to direct a sequel to her 2007 film 2 Days in Paris.
Production for Skylab begins May 31.
