'Star Wars' holds US top spot
The final Star Wars movie has held onto the top spot in the US.

Revenge of the Sith pulled in an estimated $70.8 million (£39m) from Friday to Monday, taking its North American gross to $271.2 million (£149.2m) in twelve days. The figure is around 35% higher than predecessors The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones managed over an equivalent period.

New releases Madagascar and The Longest Yard finished second and third with respective takings of $61 million (£33.6m) and $60 million (£33m).
