Teresa Palmer cast in 'I Am Number Four'

Teresa Palmer has been cast in teen sci-fi action movie I Am Number Four, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The Australian actress will play one of nine aliens who escape their war-ravaged home planet and take shelter on Earth. Palmer is playing Number Six, while Beastly's Alex Pettyfer is the titular Number Four.

District 9's Sharlto Copley was last week confirmed for the project, taking on the role of Four's mentor.

D.J. Caruso (Eagle Eye) will direct the film for DreamWorks with Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay serving as producers.
