A source told The Mirror: "Scarlett stepped up her exercise and diet regime, and tucked into lots of lean meats, plus oxtail which she became particularly fond of."
The Jon Favreau movie, which also stars Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickey Rourke and Sam Rockwell, and is due for release next week.
