Tommy Lee has named Johnny Depp as his "first choice" to play him in an autobiographical movie about the Motley Crue.
The drummer, who was once married to Pamela Anderson, hopes Depp will agree to re-enact some of his more licentious experiences, including his infamous home movie.
"He would be my first choice to play me and that would be awesome," he is quoted as saying by Female First. "I love all his work and sometimes there are certain days when we look alike."
Of the movie, which is based on the band's book The Dirt, Lee added: "We've just got the script through and I haven't had a chance to read it. We haven't picked a director yet. The four of us will produce or co-produce to make sure everything is exact."
