Matt Prokop has said that the cast of High School Musical have a family-like bond.

Prokop, who played Jimmie 'The Rocket' Zara in Senior Year, told DS that he still spends time with his co-stars from the Disney film.

"It was definitely a family that stuck after the movie finished and we still hang out, go out to lunch, dinner or movies. We still try and hang out as much as possible," he said, adding that Zac Efron often helps him prepare for auditions: "If I have an audition, he's willing to work on it with me. He's just a really good guy, always down to help and doesn't really judge anyone."

Discussing the possibility of returning to the HSM franchise, Matt added: "If anything, it might be a little cameo appearance. I haven't heard anything [about High School Musical 4]. The only thing I've really heard is that they're doing Broadway Bound, which is the Sharpay spin-off. I know that is in the works but I've heard nothing about 4."

The 19-year-old can next be seen in Furry Vengeance, opening in UK cinemas on Friday.
