Olivia Thirlby is in talks to co-star in director Ivan Reitman's upcoming untitled Paramount comedy.

The Juno actress could join stars Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher in the film, previously titled Friends With Benefits.

The story centres on a man and a woman who struggle to keep their relationship strictly physical.

Thirlby is circling the role of Portman's sister, reports The Wrap. Greta Gerwig Kevin Kline, Ophelia Lovibond and Ben Lawson have also signed to co-star.

The movie is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on January 7, 2011.

Thirlby also recently joined sci-fi thriller The Darkest Hour.
