Condon officially boards 'Breaking Dawn'

The Dreamgirls helmer emerged as the frontrunner to direct the final two movies in the series earlier this month.
Other candidates reportedly included Gus Van Sant, Sophia Coppola, Fernando Meirelles and Stephen Daldry.
Condon also directed Kinsey and wrote the adapted screenplay for 2003 'Best Picture' Oscar-winner Chicago.
The next film in the franchise, Eclipse, arrives in cinemas on June 30.
