LaBeouf to star in action film 'Death'

Shia LaBeouf has signed to star in upcoming feature The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman.

The movie is described as a "romantic actioneer" by studio Lionsgate. The project will mark the film debut of commercial director Dante Ariola.

The movie follows a normal man (LaBeouf) targeted by a crime boss who falls for his girlfriend.

LaBeouf's Wall Street : Money Never Sleeps arrives in US cinemas on September 24.
