Eddie Murphy joins the 'Dreamgirls'

Eddie Murphy is set to join the cast of musical adaptation Dreamgirls, DreamWorks has announced.
The Coming To America star will join singer Beyonce Knowles and Ray's Jamie Foxx in the adaptation of the award-winning musical following the career of The Dreamettes.
Bill Condon, who won a Directors Guild award for 2004's Kinsey, is helming the project.
Murphy was last heard in last year's Shrek 2 as the voice of Donkey.
