According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gordon-Levitt is in final negotiations for leading roles in Premium Rush and Looper.
Premium Rush is a chase thriller being helmed by director David Koepp for Columbia.
Looper is a futuristic sci-fi adventure directed by Brick and The Brothers Bloom helmer Rian Johnson.
Gordon-Levitt will next be seen in Christopher Nolan's Inception, opening July 16 in US cinemas.
