The Wayne's World star told Parade that he "came out wanting to be an actor" when he was born.
Myers said: "Dude, this is all a dream. I have done everything I wanted to do. When I was 11, I saw SNL and said, 'I want to be on that show'. I didn't even know the name of it then.
"I had this horrible cold recently. I was so sick, I couldn't even move, so I just watched TV on the couch. And there were 12 references to things that I have done."
He added: "Somebody said 'Mojo'. Somebody said, 'Not!' Somebody does, 'Uh, I'm not worthy'. Then Dr Evil and 'One million dollars!'. And I thought, 'How the heck did that happen?'.
"A lot of it was very hard work and being very, very laser-focused. But a lot of it is unbelievable luck. For this, I'm very grateful."
