Laurence Fishburne has signed up to Mission: Impossible 3, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Matrix actor joins Tom Cruise, Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Michelle Monoghan, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Ving Rhames in the sequel.
The movie will be helmed by J.J. Abrams (Alias) and produced by Cruise and Paula Wagner.
Fishburne will play the part of Ethan Hunt's (Cruise) mentor in the film, which is due to start filming next month for a May 5, 2006 release.
