The large screen booking is part of a 20-picture distribution deal between Warner Bros and IMAX, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Snyder's graphic novel adaptation Watchmen was also released in IMAX in 2009.
"The growing international IMAX theatre network will enable us to offer the premium IMAX release of Sucker Punch 3D to a wider audience, introducing even more moviegoers to the winning combination of Zack Snyder's vision and IMAX's powerful format," said Warner's Veronika Kwan-Rubinek.
Sucker Punch 3D is an action-oriented fantasy film about a girl who escapes an oppressive institution. It stars Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens and Carla Gugino and is scheduled for a December release.
