Gay love story for Wachowski war film?

The Wachowski Brothers' next project will reportedly be set during a fictional Iraq war and include a gay love story.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the plot centres on an explicit homosexual affair between a US soldier and an Iraqi.

The story will apparently commence in the near future and cast back over the years to focus on the present Iraqi conflict.

The brothers have supposedly already finished the script and plan to find financial backing once their plans to direct are confirmed.
