Paramount Pictures has entered into a first-look production agreement with Plan B.

The deal, announced today, guarantees Paramount first refusal on production opportunities for any film delveloped at the Brad Pitt-owned Plan B over the next three years.

Paramount Pictures Chairman and CEO Brad Grey said of the agreement:
"It's been no secret that I've wanted Plan B to have a home at Paramount, and it's especially gratifying to be bringing Brad and my old friends and colleagues from Plan B over as one of our first major production deals for the studio."

"Having great respect for Brad's vision, we're excited for this opportunity to continue building our company in partnership with him and his team at Paramount," said Pitt.

Plan B already has a number of projects in the pipeline with Paramount, including True Story, based on the book by Michael Finkel about the events after a murder suspect stole his identity, and Glass Castle, based on the memoirs of Jeanette Walls and how she came to terms with a traumatic upbringing.
