Jennifer Garner is set to star in and produce a remake of 2004 Japanese movie Be With You, reports Variety.

The Nobuhiro Doi-directed original was based on a novel by Takuji Ichikawa, telling the story of a dying woman who promises her family that she would return. A year goes by before the family come across a woman who is strikingly familiar.

Garner recently finished filming Susannah Grant's Catch And Release.
