Akinnuoye-Agbaje for 'The Thing' prequel

Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who played Mr Eko on ABC's Lost, has been cast in the role of Derek in the upcoming horror/sci-fi movie, reports Shock Till You Drop.
The 42-year-old joins Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Edgerton and Jonathan Lloyd Walker in the film, directed by Matthijs van Heijningen.
Production has already begun in Canada.
Akinnuoye-Agbaje played Heavy Duty in last year's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
