'Chuck' creator producing 'Fun Size'

Chuck co-creator Josh Schwartz has signed to produce upcoming comedy Fun Size for Paramount.

The project is based on a spec script from Max Werner, a writer for The Colbert Report.

Schwartz will produce alongside Stephanie Savage, a partner in his Fake Empire shingle company, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Fun Size has been billed as Superbad meets Adventures in Babysitting on Halloween.

"I grew up on John Hughes films and miss those great character-based comedies that make you feel something. Fun Size is about real characters who are smart, funny and a little bit offbeat," said Werner.

Production details for the movie have not been released.
