'Da Vinci Code' filming underway

The filming for The Da Vinci Code began in Paris yesterday.
News24.com reports that the Ron Howard-directed movie, based upon the Dan Brown bestseller, began photography yesterday at the Ritz hotel and is set to move on to a location shoot in the Louvre museum today according to Le Parisiene newspaper.
Due for release next May, the film will star Tom Hanks as symbologist Robert Langdon who must decipher a series of clues to solve an ancient mystery with the help of cryptologist Sophie Neveu (Amelie's Audrey Tautou.)
