The Lost actress was expected to play mutant Kitty Pride in the sequel, but auditions are now being advertised for her replacement, says DEADlines.
Brett Ratner is helming the movie, featuring Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Famke Jannsen (Jean Grey/Phoenix), Kelsey Grammer (Hank McCoy/Beast) and Vinnie Jones (Cain Marko/Juggernaut).
X-Men 3 is scheduled for a May 26, 2006 release.
