Brendan Fraser has joined Eric Eason's Journey to the End of the Night for Millennium Films, reports Variety.

City of God's Alice Braga is also confirmed for the thriller, which follows a father and son trying to change their lives via an shady underworld.

Also in talks to join the film are Mos Def and Catalina Sandino Moreno.

Filming will begin in September in Brazil.
