Audiences pass on Crowe refund offer
Audiences seem satisfied with Russell Crowe's Cinderella Man, with few taking cinema companies' up on their offers of a refund.

Both Cinemark and AMC Entertainment guaranteed audiences of the movie satisfaction or their money back in a hope to raise its profile. The Press Association quotes Cinemark spokeswoman Terrell Falk as saying: "It's in competition with films with lots of special effects and big action this summer. This is a quiet film. The whole effort was to focus attention on what is a beautiful film that deserves an audience but just hasn't gotten one."

AMC have only been asked for around 100 refunds in their 100 cinemas since their offer began two weeks ago, whilst Cinemark have only been taken up on their offer by around 26 people in as many outlets over the Independence Day weekend.
