Steve Coogan has denied rumours suggesting that Victoria Beckham will be appearing in Alan Partridge: The Movie.
Reports last month claimed that Posh would play a diva who was interviewed by the fictional radio DJ.
A source said at the time, "She'll be the interviewee that finally allows Alan back on the airwaves with an incendiary chat and her part calls for some serious comic timing. She'll add glamour to the project and prove she's able to take the p**s with the rest of them, it's a brilliant move for her."
However, Coogan, who plays Partridge, has finally revealed that the rumours are untrue.
He told The Mirror, "We haven't even written the thing yet."
