Vertigo Films, BBC Films and the UK Film Council are said to be discussing making a follow-up to the dance movie, which stars Nichola Burley and Britain's Got Talent acts George Sampson, Diversity and Flawless.
The film has proven to be a box office hit in the UK, taking in almost £9 million after three weeks on release and outpacing blockbuster Prince Of Persia.
In addition, a StreetDance Live stage show is rumoured to be in development to open at London's Royal Festival Hall in December.
