'Transformers' release put back
Published Thursday, Jul 14 2005, 10:01 BST | By Daniel Saney
The big screen adaptation of Transformers will now hit screens on July 4, 2007 rather than the previously-planned November 17, 2006.
Writing team Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are responsible for the delay as they jet off to Rome to work on J.J. Abrams' Mission: Impossible 3.
Based on the "robots in disguise," the live-action Transformers movie will be directed by Michael Bay (Armageddon) whilst Steven Spielberg will act as executive producer.
