Katherine Heigl: 'I'm a real whiner'

Katherine Heigl has admitted that she complained a lot when filming action scenes for her latest movie Killers.

Asked how she coped with filming stunt sequences for the romantic comedy, the actress told DS: "Badly. I was a real whiner! I realised in the last year that I have a problem, it's that I whine too much, and I'm working on it!

"I'm just trying to keep it as 'inside voices'. I tend to be very whiney so I'm not great with anything that requires hurting myself."

Director Robert Luketic added that Ashton Kutcher was able to embrace the action elements of the movie, saying: "He couldn't put himself in enough danger if he tried. If there was a fast-moving car he'd want to jump in front of it and feel what it would be like to be hit by the car!"

Killers, co-starring Kutcher, Tom Selleck and Catherine O'Hara, centres on a suburban couple who become targets for contract killers.
